At C-MASTERS, we have created a selection of 'must do' courses. After several years of providing training we know which topics and skills are considered complex by students. Most of these topics are touched upon in the RYA shorebased courses and in practical courses. However, a more intensive training is needed to become a confident skipper.

While preparing your passage or being underway, it is essential to properly understand the present weather and being aware of upcoming changes or negative surprises. Just checking an average weather app on a smartphone is not good seamanship. Knowing what to expect will keep you safe and maximise enjoyment for you and your crew.

This course is a 'must do' for skippers who wish to learn key aspects of meteorology and practically applying the forecast for passages on coastal waters or further offshore.

This course is strongly recommended for anyone preparing for a Yachtmaster exam.
